The Greater Charlotte Heart Ball, Charlotte's largest annual formal gala, starts at 6 p.m. Feb. 8 with a reception and silent auction at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, 400 E. Martin Luther King Blvd. There’s also a seated dinner and live auction. Tickets are $250 per person at www.charlottencheartball.org.
That’s just one of the American Heart Association’s events in Charlotte in February, which is American Heart Month. Others include National Wear Red Day on Feb. 7 and the Macy’s Go Red Total Makeover Event from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 8 at Macy’s at SouthPark mall.
